This year, the children of ISVA performed „Wind in the Willow“, adapted from the children’s novel by Kenneth Grahame, in the spectacular surroundings of the Konzerthaus in Gendarmenmarkt.
The registration process for the ISVA Saturday School is now in full swing and the groups are filling steadily, to date 35 children have been registered. We are delighted to have a full team of staff and to welcome such experienced and dedicated teachers to our Saturday School.
For the very first time ISVA organised a graduation ceremony for ten Year 13 students who completed their exams and will now be attending various universities all over the world.
This year’s Summer Dance turned out to be a huge success due to the help of various people. Despite the pouring rain our guests enjoyed the delicious food, dance and generally had a great time until late at night.
When news of Japan’s earthquake reached ISVA, numerous students, parents and staff participated in fund-raising activities. A sum of €5710.03 was transferred to help those who were affected by the disaster. We have now received a letter from the Embassy thanking everyone involved for their dedication and compassion.
Ready for take off! Parents and Students, sponsored by ISVA and Kaisers Tengelmann, are organising a joyful evening before we say farewell to our oldest students.
